Lunch is provided by East Ayton School and represents good value for money. Menus are set by East Ayton School and are provided at the beginning of every term. Children can choose from a school dinner or packed lunch. School dinners should be paid for on the first day of the week – the cost is presently £2.30 per day (£11.50 per week). We encourage parents to pay for school meals by ParentPay as we try to operate a cashless school. Free school meals are supplied depending on parental income and every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 is entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM). If you think your child is entitled to free school meals please contact the Scarborough Area Education Office, Valley Bridge Parade, Scarborough YO11 2PG.
Children may bring a non carbonated drink to have with their meal. Water is available. Glass containers of any kind should not be brought in. Each morning fruit is provided for children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Other children may also like to bring a healthy snack for the morning break. We ask that this is not sweets.
Children under the age of 5 are provided with free school milk. It is also available to older pupils at a small cost. Please contact the school office if you would like you child to have a mid-morning drink of milk or contact Cool Milk using the link on this page.
